Colorado State University Provost Rick Miranda and Vice President for Engagement Lou Swanson led the sixth annual CSU Ram Faculty Engagement Tour to Breckenridge on August 6 and 7. The CSU Ram Faculty Engagement Tour is a two-day traveling seminar designed for recently hired and newly tenured faculty, new administrators, and new student leaders.

Results from the 2017 survey of Colorado county commissioners indicate a high level of overall satisfaction with CSU Extension's quality, value, responsiveness, and level of service. As one survey respondent commented, “Extension in [our county] really does have something for everyone, from 4-H for children to Master Gardening for seniors.”
Colorado State University Vice President for Engagement Lou Swanson visited five Chinese universities in January. All five universities – Zhejiang University, Hunan Agricultural University, Huazhong Agricultural University, Nanjing Agricultural University and Northeast Agricultural University – are members of the China-US University-based Agricultural Extension Alliance.
