From fire to snow, wind and water, a disaster can happen any time of year. To help Coloradans learn how to expect the unexpected, El Paso County Extension is hosting a free emergency preparedness webinar on Thursday, June 9 from 6-9 pm.

Learn what it takes to keep you and your loved ones safe and gain insights from industry experts covering topics like:

• Livestock and animal emergency preparedness – Robin Adir, Pikes Peak Regional Office of Emergency Management

• Supporting people with disabilities and other access/functional needs – Sadie Martinez, Colorado State of Homeland Security and Emergency Management

• Defensible space and food safety clean up after a disaster – Michele Ritchie, El Paso County Extension
