June 9-14: CSU Crops Testing Hosts 2022 Wheat Field Days

Colorado State University Crops TestingA close up shot of wheat in a field is excited to announce the details for the 2022 Wheat Field Days. Taking place over four days and spread across 11 farms and research sites, participants will be able to see field trials for public and private wheat varieties and gain insights into their unique characteristics.

CSU faculty and experts will share the latest information and research relating to various aspects of wheat such as breeding, variety trials, entomology, pathology, seed programs, soil fertility, and forage use. Industry representatives will provide wheat market updates and seed company representatives will share information about their varieties.

This programming is made possible by CSU Crops Testing’s farmer-cooperators, seed company and industry partners, and colleagues from CSU College of Agriculture, CSU Extension, Colorado Wheat, and USDA-ARS.

The field days will be held on Thursday, June 9 in Walsh, Lamar, and Brandon; June 10 in Burlington and Genoa; June 13 in Orchard, Wiggins, and Roggen; and June 14 at Julesburg, Yuma, and Akron. For a full list of participants and details directions, visit csucrops.com.
