Celebrate Ag Day with 4-H on September 11th

Join the Colorado 4-H and the Agriculture community for a celebration of service, leadership, resilience and Colorado agriculture producers.

After a year of virtual events, 2021 brings a return of in-person festivities. Labor Day weekend marks the end of the 2021 Colorado State Fair and the beginning of the CSU Rams football season. With fall quickly approaching, now is the perfect time to get together with the 4-H community for a fun-filled celebration of all things Ag and 4-H.

Ag Day with 4-H

For 40 years CSU has celebrated Ag Day, a tradition that began in 1981 when Greeley native and emeritus professor of Animal Sciences John Matsushima created Ag Day in collaboration with Thurman “Fum” McGraw, CSU’s athletic director from 1976 to 1986, to support students studying agricultural sciences.

This year marks the 5th year that Colorado 4-H has joined Ag Day festivities on the CSU Fort Collins Campus, celebrating the best of Colorado agriculture and our 4-H youth leaders, families and communities across the state. The 4-H community is invited to celebrate Ag Day with 4-H as the CSU Rams take on Vanderbilt on campus at Canvas Stadium on Saturday, September 11th.
