As part of the CSU Office of Engagement and Extension's Rural Initiative, 14 Extension specialists have been hired to help increase access to education, improve health, support food and agriculture production and foster thriving and vibrant communities across Colorado. The sweeping, statewide initiative is funded by a $8.58 million investment from the CSU System Board of Governors.
