In collaboration with the City of Fort Collins, Grace Gallagher, an assistant professor of dance, and her students launched a series of 15 mini performances in non-traditional spaces around the city, with a focus on low- and moderate-income communities.

To help support older adults, in 2022 CSU Extension adapted its Aging Mastery course in partnership with the Denver Regional Council on Aging (DRCOG) to offer the program in five different languages to immigrants and refugees in Aurora.
Barbara Hyde Boardman, who served as a CSU Extension horticulture agent in Longmont for 17 years, passed away in mid-January, just over a month shy of her 99th birthday. A pioneer in her industry, Boardman was the first woman to enroll in CSU’s horticulture program.
As associate director for CSU's Colorado Water Center, Karen Schlatter will lead the development and implementation of the Center’s outreach and engagement strategy, and support faculty in the development of integrated research, outreach and education grants addressing critical water management issues.
Kerri Rollins, a two-time graduate of Colorado State University, was recently selected to serve as CSU Extension’s Front Range Regional Director, a position she’s held in an interim capacity since 2020. In her role, Rollins oversees more than 80 Extension professionals across 10 counties in Colorado.
Eric McPhail began his role as regional director for CSU Extension's Western Region on Sept. 19. He will be moving from his office in Gunnison County, were he previously served as the county's Extension director, to Grand Junction.
The Sci on the Fly mobile outreach lab with a focus on VR technology and is debuting at the Colorado State Fair in Pueblo, which runs until Sept. 5. The trailer will be located in the Ag Pavilion.
